Please apply on our website directly.” Desktop Support Specialist Cambridge, MA USC only Must have LinkedIn Client : Intellia Therapeutics Inc Rate$30/hr on C2C Locals onlyJDProvide end-user support for computers running Windows 10 and Mac OS X.Responsible for the setup, configuration, and delivery of workstations and peripherals to end users in both office and laboratory environments.Configure and maintain PC and laptop images for company wide distribution.Provide desktop application support and problem resolution for business and lab system applications.Perform routine moves and changes.Perform software and hardware installations and upgrades as needed.Documents, tracks, and handles helpdesk calls and/or escalate problems when necessary.Responsible for weekly and monthly maintenance tasks on lab workstations and ensures critical data is being backed up and/or synchronized to network resources.Troubleshoot print, copy, and scanner issues, escalating calls to support vendors when necessary.Meet Your Future TeamThe Desktop Support Specialist reports directly to Intellia’s IT Helpdesk Manager and works closely with all areas of the organization as well as the Company’s vendors. The Desktop Support Specialist will provide desktop support and problem resolution for Intellia’s office and laboratory systems. He/she will respond to break/fix requests for technical support and assistance for all workstations, laptops, peripherals and software applications. He/she will work with functional groups (G&A and R&D) to identify and deliver computer systems for new hires and/or lab equipment as requested. The Desktop Support Specialist will install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end user and lab workstation hardware, software and peripherals. The Desktop Support Specialist will escalate issues and requests to the IT Team when appropriate. He/she will also provide new user orientation and other system training to end users as needed.
