As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications to support the mission of the OAG. You will work in a team environment and collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to create user-friendly and efficient web applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, extensive experience working with Drupal, and a desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites, Acquia Cloud webforms and applications.
- Collaborate with architecture, stakeholders, management, and other developers to create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that will be pin tested.
- Responsible for establishing and integrating pipelines, connections with agency-mandated development and integrations (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GoAnywhere, etc.) that complies with agency and security practices/requirements.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot incidents, complete requests, and submit changes in ServiceNow.
- Be proactive and perform website updates, maintenance, and support users and vendor.
- Optimize website performance and ensure security.
- Conduct quality assurance and testing to identify and resolve any issues.
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in Drupal/Acquia development.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 Years Required Proven experience in Drupal/Acquia Cloud development, including custom module development and theming.
- 8 Years Required Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- 8 Years Required Strong understanding of Drupal architecture and best practices.
- 8 Years Required Experience with Drupal 8/9 and knowledge of migration strategies from earlier versions.
- 8 Years Required Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery).
- 8 Years Required Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- 8 Years Required Understanding of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
- 8 Years Required Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 8 Years Required Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- 8 Years Required Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- 8 Years Required Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred (optional)
- 4 Years Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 1 Years Preferred Drupal Certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Sr. Developer).
- 1 Years Preferred Experience with integrating third-party APIs, RESTful APIs strongly preferred, and web services.
- 1 Years Preferred Familiarity with other CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).
- 1 Years Preferred Knowledge of web security best practices.
