Electrical Designer\/Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n

SCEG offers mechanical and electrical engineering for hotels, apartments, condominiums, single family estate homes, theaters, shopping centers, restaurants, retail stores, schools, offices, hospitals, libraries, museums and amusement parks. Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Full Time, flexible, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. \u2013 noon. Candidates should have some level of experience in the following areas plus the desire to learn and work with a team.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Calculating loads, performing short circuit studies and energy analysis<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Lighting, power and low voltage systems design<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Selection and specification of electrical equipment, field observation and reporting<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Laying out and sizing distribution systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinating with building departments, clients and other project team members<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Review of contractor equipment submittals and RFI\u2019s<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This position is available to a self-motivated, growth oriented, professional seeking a flexible environment and rewarding opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 1-5 years\u2019 experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent AutoCAD skills required, Revit skills preferred<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficient in the use of Energy Pro; Easy Power and other industry standard electrical engineering software preferred<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal required<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Outstanding organizational abilities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 BSEE preferred<\/p>\n
