Job Description

Windows Server Platforms Customer Engineer

  • “Install Configure and Troubleshoot Windows 10/ 11 (Advanced to expert level)
  • Understand Windows Servicing process.
  • Upgrade process from Windows 7, 8, 8.1 to Windows 10/ 11
  • PowerShell/ automation, DNS, GPO, DHCP
  • Advanced Knowledge of Universal and Provisioned applications
  • Windows Performance and troubleshooting via windows tools (Perfmon/ WPA, task manager)
  • Blue Screen debugging
  • RDS (Remote Desktop Session)
  • WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop)
  • Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management.
  • Understanding of Windows 10/ 11 Security Features and be able to implement and troubleshoot.
  • Secure Boot; Device Guard; Application Guard; Windows Hello, TPM, etc
  • Understanding of drivers and filter drivers
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Defender suite a plus
  • Intune/ Autopilot a plus
  • Windows IoT experience a plus
  • Security best practices and implementation for Microsoft technologies is a plus.
  • 4+ years On-Premises support or consulting work for Enterprise customer base
  • 4+ years Advanced troubleshooting
  • Candidates must be able to work independently.
  • Characteristics of importance include but are not limited to customer service, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability to read/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders.
  • Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, or Information Technology highly preferred
  • Expert level of Microsoft enterprise software product offerings
  • Excellent demonstrated customer service skills.
