Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Production Supervisor that will work as part of a team to manage and coordinate activities for all PCBA production personnel. The Production Supervisor will interpret specifications and blueprints to assign work orders and assist the Production Department as needed. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.Job Responsibilities Include:
- Provides supervision and coordination of activities of workers engaged in PCBA Operations
- Coordinates production deadlines that meet or exceed all customer requirements
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of assignments
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and assigns work orders
- Working knowledge of SMT soldering, how to handle incoming customer requirements, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair process, quality, utilizing various test equipment, manual tools, gauges, calipers, and oscilloscopes
- Inspect components to ensure the machines are placing the correct parts, verify correct machine programs are loaded, change component reels on feeders, troubleshoot basic issues during production
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
- Understands process to verify conformance to specifications and directs set up and adjustments of machines
- Maintains time and production records, prepares daily and weekly productivity and downtime reports, and assists with data analysis
- Follows established safety programs and maintains knowledge of safe working practices
- Provides counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews for employees and works with Human Resources to maintain performance and behavioral measurements of employees
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and laws
- Other Duties as Assigned
Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes:
- High School Diploma, or GED is required. Associates Degree is strongly preferred.
- Prior Production Management experience required; must have knowledge of SMT Soldering, Screen Printers, Pick & Place, Reflow, and WAVE equipment.
