Information Technology Network Technician
Telework Position with up to 50% travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities
Kingfisher is seeking an Information Technology Technician (IT Tech) to support the telecommunications systems within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) for our confidential Customer. This position is based in Fort Meade, Maryland but has the option to be performed from any location. The IT Tech will assist in implementing and integrating information systems and work under the direction of the Senior Network Engineer. Specific position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Ability to work and stay motivated working independently and within a team
- Troubleshoot, fix, and upgrade Customer systems
- Develop solutions for network, desktop, and server problems
- Analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Experience with DoD Major Automated Information Systems or Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience with Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications: Experience with SATCOM systems
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in telecommunication systems
Degree Requirement: USA/USAF/USN Technical School Diploma
Minimum Clearance Requirement: Minimum active DoD Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship: Required
Valid Passport Required
