We’re looking for a VP of Infrastructure to be part of making this happen.As VP, the candidate will be responsible for building an efficient and high performing engineering organization to deliver the product roadmap for build infrastructure, observability and reliability. As VP, the candidate will own the overall delivery and manifestation of Arctic Wolf’s product offerings and will work with counterparts in Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and partners. The candidate’s experience with managing large scale technical organizations and excellent communication skills will help them make technical presentations to large groups of internal and external stakeholders.AS A VP OF INFRASTRUCTURE AT ARCTIC WOLF, YOU WILL:

  • Lead and oversee reliability and observability improvement as well as build infrastructure
  • Establish business metrics and represent the organization in executive meetings like QBRs and Product concept reviews.
  • Work with Product Management to ensure that there is a product vision, strategy and long-term roadmap
  • Provide industry expertise, insights and inventive ideas to Executive Team
  • Own decision making by anticipating problems and provide recommendations for corrections
  • Build a high performing engineering organization with no single points of failure
  • Enable and foster a culture within the groups based on the R&D and Corporate Principles
  • Ensure that Information Security is a top priority across the organization
  • Inspire, lead, and grow a world-class R&D/IT/Operations organization
  • Implement scalable processes that adopt best practices and improve code quality
  • Ensure that the Production Operations are available and functioning appropriately to service our customers
  • Mentor senior R&D staff
  • Participate in technical discussions around strategic alliances including M&A

We’re Looking For Someone With Experience In

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of software engineering management
  • Hands-on engineering experience with modern software stacks, cloud-based SaaS platforms and architectures
  • Experience in a wide variety of software development languages (e.g. Golang, Python, Java or a similar high-level language).
  • Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, XP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated technical project management skills
  • Familiarity with market participants and trends in several of the following:
  • Cloud security technologies and implications
  • Vulnerability management
  • Security Infrastructure
  • Software Supply Chain management
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and communicate with senior executives
  • Compelling and succinct communication skills especially presenting with slideware
  • Ability to explain technical concepts using audience-specific language for audiences with different technical skill levels.
  • Ability to prioritize projects with limited guidance and develop compelling justification.
