Receptionist – Full-TimeReceptionist Overview: The Receptionist will provide general assistance and oversight to ensure high resident satisfaction and care; answer telephones; greet guests; respond to residents’ requests and assist in coordination of services to residents; assist in providing services to residents, families and guests. Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment.Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check-in all guests to the facility
  • Assist staff in providing and coordinating services to residents, families and guests.
  • Answer telephone calls, direct calls appropriately, respond to call bells timely
  • Assist residents and staff in solving problems if asked, include encouragement to participate in all that the facility offers.
  • Create and maintain an environment for residents, families and guests that is customer-friendly and that values and respects the uniqueness of each individual.
  • Oversee resident attendance at meal times
  • Oversight of the Reception area for organization and compliance.
  • Assist with coverage of the Reception area or other departments as needed.
  • Sort and distribute mail to individuals’ mailboxes if needed.
  • Engage with residents to ensure high level of satisfaction and bring any issues or concerns to the Administrator.
  • Light cleaning in lobby, maintain presentable work station and front desk
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Management Team.
  • Adhere to and carry out all policies and procedures.

Receptionist Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude
  • Knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn phone systems and computer programs
  • Enjoys working with elderly population
