Job Title:: Network Management Center Transport Engineer3Working Model: RemoteJOB TITLE: Network Management Center Transport EngineerMUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important)

  • As a part of the NMC Transport Team, you are accountable to work all Telco-related issues in a timely manner with limited market interaction.
  • Transport tickets should be picked up from the Transport Bucket within 10-15 minutes; individuals monitoring the Transport Bucket should assign the tickets to themselves at the beginning of the shift and launch all the elements necessary to verify sites or elements are Up/Down.
  • Outage tickets will either be opened via an EBOND system or manually by the technicians.
  • Once outages have been resolved, the Workbench 360 (WB360) ticket(s) should be documented and closed out immediately.

Primary Skills

  • Apply a broad awareness of surveillance techniques to monitor a variety of data types across global networks and report on customer impact.
  • Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of Wireless voice and data network events.
  • Manage and communicate network outages in a timely and effective manner to external teams by communicating technical details and status to customer service centers, technical support organizations, vendors, and executive management teams during network events and major outages.
  • Actively build relationships with Field Engineers and Management to handle network events.

Even Better If You Have

  • A Degree Experience in one or more of the following fields: Telecommunications, Network Operations Center, Transport Network, Data Communications and Network Routers, and/or Network Maintenance.

Logistics

  • The Wireless NMC operates 24×7 to provide continuous management and support of the wireless network.
  • NMC Transport technicians must be willing to work the overnight shift: 11:00 PM 07:00 AM, (Days off – to be determine). 5x per week WFH
  • SHIFTS: Night Shift 11:00 pm – 7:00 PM (Days off – to be determine)
