Description
Job Purpose:
The IT Project Manager oversees all IT initiatives from concept to completion. The IT Project Manager is responsible for infrastructure and security management and will be expected to evaluate current technology, identify inefficiencies, and propose and implement solutions.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify, document, and resolve technical and operational barriers using technology, software functionality and/or modification to process and procedure.
- Own full life cycle of software and infrastructure projects across departments.
- Manage Cloud Migration and Infrastructure projects.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of SharePoint.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Present status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, issues, and resolutions to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain security architecture design. Develop and initiate system safeguards and recovery plans.
- Implement security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption, vulnerability scanners, etc.) to protect sensitive information.
- Continuously audit IT policies, procedures, and compliance to ensure security.
- Works interdepartmentally to implement process and procedural IT initiatives. Train employees as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
