Job Description

Salesforce Developer/Admin

  • The Salesforce administrator plays a crucial role in supporting staff and management in the ongoing and expanding use of the Salesforce Health Cloud Lightning platform to optimize HPP member and provider services.
  • In addition, this position is accountable for assisting the business units with defining changes and updates to the salesforce platform, coordinating business requests, configurations, and development changes as needed.
  • The salesforce administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting new functionality in the Salesforce system.
  • This role is part administrator and part developer and responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and end-user support of the CRM platform.
  • In addition, the Salesforce Administrator will actively participate in business process design sessions, user interviews, and management reporting.
  • The salesforce administrator will report directly to the IT and Business Relationship Management Director.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Setup, maintenance and managing of the Salesforce environment, which includes knowledge of Service and Health Cloud
  • Configuring, developing Apex class, writing triggers, Creating LWC and Aura components, testing and managing implementations in the sandboxes
  • Documenting technical and user management requirements and release schedules
  • Maintaining a list of enhancements and changes and facilitating release management meetings with stakeholders.
  • Managing test data in sandbox environments and coordination of user acceptance testing
  • Installing App exchange products and managing in Salesforce
  • Good understanding of the Health Cloud Data model and its objects
  • Deploying changes from sandbox to production
  • Administration of users, roles, profiles, page layouts, and other items
  • Management of data security and access control
  • Owner of the Salesforce environment and Primary Salesforce administrator
  • Create training materials and user documentation, and maintain such documentation as business needs evolve
  • Coordinate with the IT department to develop, enhance and maintain integrations with back-office systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience within standard functions/modules of Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud required, Service Cloud and Community Cloud and another Salesforce features a plus)
  • 3+ years of building solutions using Salesforce.com declarative tools including (not limited to) process builder, visual workflow, and workflow rules
  • 2+ years of experience in large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces, and data conversion (ex. Implementation of managed packages)
  • Experience configuring within the Salesforce Lightning UI
  • Salesforce.com certifications in relevant disciplines such as development and platform app builder
  • Agile development experience
  • Certified Platform Developer I or II with data modelling experience.
  • Experienced with Data migration activities with native tools like Data Loader.
  • Experience with deployments using change sets or ANT or Salesforce DX.
  • Knowledge on Force.com coding like Apex Classes, SOQL, SOLS, Java script, visual force and HTML, triggers and experience in Lightning
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with external application using SOAP and REST API integration
  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
  • In-depth knowledge of workflow rules, formula fields, reports, dashboards development
  • Awareness of governance limits in Salesforce and best practices to be followed

Key Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or 5 years’ experience in managed care and/or indemnity insurance
  • 3 years in a salesforce administration and development position
  • Healthcare industry experience required
  • Knowledge of Medicare/CMS requirements preferred

Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to create and deliver end-user training
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Work experience in insurance sales
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA
  • Experience generating sales commission statements from Salesforce.
